I am very happy to share the news of another closed sale at 3189 Cesar Chavez. This was one of the most challenging transactions I’ve done in a while and I can honestly say that everyone involved is very happy it’s finally closed! Nick & Deborah were first time buyers who successfully navigated through one challenge after another and now they are the proud owners of this spacious 3bd/2ba top-floor condo in the upper Bernal Heights area. They were able to negotiate a great deal on this cosmetic fixer, which is a very rare thing in this current market. A few highlights of our up & down deal included: having our very first offer we ever made accepted (another rarity right now in SF); dealing with establishing a HOA for lending purposes; negotiating through delays on deadlines; finding out about potential new construction next door; holding up the close due after final walk-thru due to condition; sellers who didn’t hustle to vacate and finally arranging one final dump run even as keys were delivered.
