We were diligent about going out on tour and open houses every week to see the new listings in Marin. This house wasn’t originally on our radar because as a new listing, the asking price was $749,000. However, as time went by, we saw it drop to $729K, so we took a look and realized that it was perfect for their needs: good space, easy commute location, and a big fenced yard for “Winnie The Pooch”. They made an offer and were excited to get it accepted. After inspections, we were able to negotiate the final price down to $701K, which made my clients very happy.
